"Late Talib ul Moula was a great scion of Sindh who left deep imprints not only on the politics
but also on education, journalism, literature and poetry of the province. He will be remembered
for his fight for the rights of the province. It was he who organized an all Parties Conference
in Hyderabad against One Unit at a time when a military dictator ruled the county and the so-called
'strong center' was the officially certified norm. "
This was stated in a message by the Former Prime Minister and Chairperson Pakistan Peoples
Party, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on the 12th death anniversary of renowned poet and spiritual
leader Makhdoom Muhammad-uz-Zaman Talib-ul-Moula, one of the founding members of the Pakistan
Peoples Party. Paying rich tributes to Talib-ul-Moula, she said, "It is a measure of his personality and
strength of character that his sense of loyalty to dearly held political ideals has permeated
to his generations also. Two generations represented by his son Makhdoom Amin Fahim and grandson
Makhdoom Jameeluz Zaman have earned great respect by faithfully sticking to the Party's ideals
through thick and thin. Late Talib ul Moula was a man of many parts. He was a political leader
committed to the ideals of democracy and egalitarianism propounded by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto
and also a religious leader who organized his followers and commanded enormous respect among
them. He was an educationist who spent time and effort in promoting education in the province
and also a writer, a journalist and a poet at the same time. " "Above all Makhdoom Talb ul Moula was an upright and sincere person who touched the lives
of those who came in contact with him. He was indeed a rarely gifted person the likes of whom
are born once in generations ", Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto concluded. Following is the full text of the message: On the occasion of the 12th death anniversary of Makhdoom Muhammad-uz- Zaman Talib ul Moula
